Blueberry pancakes!
August 9th, Monday
Zucchini bread! Made with monstrous zucchini.
August 8th, Sunday
Garden update:
The marigolds are doing great
The pole bean plant grew four whole beans:
Ehh, it's better than nothing
Monstrous zucchini!
August 7th, Saturday
I got a train case from the vintage store for my painting supplies
Nice.
M bought an old lady couch and she, Sam and I rolled it home on a dolly. It's really beautiful, but covered in boxes in the basement until September. Here's the print until I can get a real picture:

Ohhhhh jesus, it's the Enchanted Forest
Old man spider
The bear looked really uncomfortable about this kid's arm being around him
Miss Muffet
Old man spider in real life!
Cupcake house
For Mary Anne

Mary's little lamb actually didn't want to go anywhere that Mary went.
I still have no idea why there were dogs and bunnies in these giant flowers
But they were cute
Yup.
This picture makes me yawn
Awkward, stoned caterpillar
Wut.
Tea party
LOST
OMG
Happy stump
M sized house!
There was a lot of really blatant ripping off of Disney at the Enchanted Forest, but apparently they couldn't go so far as to take actual dwarves' names, so they made up their own:
Which were actually way better than their Disney counterparts
Srsly.
Mines
!
Rip Van Winkle
This was papa bear
This was a wombat masquerading as mama bear.
Intrigue!
PUNS
Crooked house
This creepy dude lives in the crooked house:
It was slanted in real life.
O hai. Here he is with four eyes, playing a fiddle. Because that makes sense.
Little Red
Gnarly wolf
Female oppression! Also, the pumpkin looked like a tomato.
There was a giant slide inside the shoe! We rode it twice. The second time a park worker sprayed Lysol on the track so we could go faster.
Tofteville
If your name starts with W, F or H, the Enchanted Forest has some windchimes they'd like to show you. If it starts with anything else...too bad.
This is something my dad would appreciate
Cowboy hats.
NO BABIES ON THE SLIDE.
Teepee
Fake matterhorn was way smaller and propped up by plywood.
Whatevs it was still fun. And the line was shorter than for real Matterhorn
We found Jennifer Coolidge!!
God I love Jennifer Coolidge.
I don't remember where this was
Miniature train stuff
This might've been the creepiest display of all.
Tiny town!
Mushroom town?
Tiny tree!
Eh, this dog reminded us of Sunny. And it was a dog, period. So we took a picture.
Architecture.
Ghost to Falco seemed kinda not into it all. Maybe because it was 5pm and there was no alcohol? Idk.
Wampire was a bit of a hot mess and totally amazing. I wish they would turn up their vocals, because I kind of love them a lot.
August 5th, Thursday

August 31st, Saturday
MOM AND ZOEY
OMG MOM AND ZOEY
(Zoey totally wants Mom to be her Grandma. She wagged her tail to tell us. She knows what kinds of treats and toys and homemade outfits it will involve.)
August 30th, Friday
Mom and Dad arrived, and Mom made me this awesome quilt!
(They are pinwheels, not swastikas. We checked before the sewing began, I promise.)
She worked very hard to make the front live up to my very plain standards. She took a few more liberties with the back:
August 29th, Thursday
I saw Kirk from Gilmore Girls at the Back Fence reading! And he told an amazing, funny, endearing story about his gf having a staph infection of the boob when they first started dating! It made me love him even more.
His gf was awesome, too.
Okay that took forever.
