For my sixteenth birthday, I made my whole family eat mashed potatoes and peas for dinner. And it was delicious.

We went to see Jens Lekman and it was pretty great, but I didn't want to carry a bag so I didn't bring my camera, so I don't have pictures of the AMAZING bass player who totally made the show for me (and to whom Jens was kind of a giant dick). Juliet something from Brooklyn, you are my new hero...

Laura borrowed a bike from Pete

ROCK.

Then there was a weird tornado and the world almost ended and I saw Jake on the street and we discussed the apocalypse and it rained a bit and everything calmed down.

June 3rd, Wednesday

Today I did all kinds of fun things, like go to breakfast with Laura and sit around with a punching nun and see some seriously fluffy dogs and watch the sun set at Overlook park, but I didn't bring my camera so all I have to show for it is this stupid sunburn.

(I don't think I've had a sunburn in like five years!)
