July 2nd, Friday
Ok, garden update: we had to take out the radishes and carrots for failure to thrive. Replanted some carrots in the bigger space and finally caved and bought some blooming marigolds (harharhar) to combat all of the bugs that are eating the lettuce and spinach:

The zucchini is really happy.

The peas are also doing pretty well
jul2three

Pole beans are making a comeback
jul2four

We also found this white board to try to reflect some more sun onto our box, but I'm not sure it's gonna help much :/ Wah wah, lame spring/summer in PDX
jul2five

M got a chia pet, though, and it's pretty sweet:

Monika and Ben came to visit and took me to the Timbers v Sounders game:

(the Sounders were wearing their ugliest of jersies to help combat green-green colorblindness)

This is what it looks like when the Sounders beat the Timbers in overtime+goal kicks:

I still don't know what it means.

My Tender Loving Empire Birthday Name didn't win me any raffle prizes, but I still think it was one of the best names of the night.
jun5

Also they had gluten free cake, which made me feel like they're really ready to accept me into their Empire. And Y La Bamba. And this song, which I lovelovelove (also this video is bizarro/funny):

June 4th, Friday
Either god has a sense of humor or I will never be cold in the afterlife.

June 3rd, Thursday
It's been a few days since I've discussed my love of MuShu

Olive doesn't understand what the big deal is
jun3two

But there's just something about how all of her face is squished at the bottom of her tiny head
jun3three

and her little button nose that looks like it's the same kind used for Sifl and Olly
jun3four

and that this is how excited she gets about everything in life:
jun3five
that makes me want to take her home really really badly.

June 2nd, Wednesday
The roses are blooming!!
jun2one

Dunkie and I found this supercool variety:
jun2two
I think it was called About Face, but I can't remember for sure

Dunks isn't that into the roses unless someone else has peed on them recently

June 1st, Tuesday
Sahar was here and she and M got me this rad sloth card that turned out to be made by the dude who worked at the Reed offices. I used to deliver his mail and he was always annoyed about it. Weird.
jun1
You can see/buy more of his stuff here

May 31st, Monday
I got taken out by some playing dogs in the yard last week, and the bruise has started to look like some kind of supernova or distant universe:
may31
Also now there's a picture of my butt on the internet. We all knew it was only a matter of time.

Anyway somehow I managed not to post for all of June and miss a bunch of days. I blame work.

holy hell, MuShu. I don't know what that is, but it's amazing.
